Episode 10-30-2009 – The Supremes and Gummy Bears

Back by popular demand, the Supremes perform live in the Goose Lane Cafe in front of a sold out crowd. It's amazing how long these crowds waiting, it must have been days. Where can you get served Ice Cream with Gummy Bears as a topping and music like that? We caught up to promotion director "ManCave" where he gave a little history of this outstanding chicks group…..The Supremes rose from the poverty of Detroit’s Brewster housing project to become Motown’s most consistent hit makers and the most popular female group of the Sixties. After years of making it big The Supremes gave their final performance at Goose Lane Café on October 30, 2009, (if everyone recalls the Supremes’ rags-to-riches life story was turned into a successful Broadway musical, Dream girls) Isn't the something…thank you ManCave for that history lesson.
Let's go next to a guy who purchased the very first ticket for the show "The Professor". Tell us The Professor how did you like the show? "I'm not here for the show, I heard on the radio if you were lucky enough to purchase the very 1st ticket you could have Gummy Bears on your Ice Cream…I waited a week for this opportunity!" WOW!
