Episode 02-04-2011 – Chairpocalypse Now

The Chair Chairman (Chair2…aka Bago) has decreed this day as the "day of reckoning". During the pre-battle gathering of the clans and his ASS (Assistant Seat Supervisor…aka T-Mobil), the Chair2 announces "Lunchgangers! Ready your lunch and eat hearty... For tonight, we dine in hell!"

Chairpocalypse Now is a 2011 Cube City narration from the graphic novel fictionalized retelling of the Battle of Goose Lane Café. The story's graphics with a super-imposition chroma key technique helps replicate the imagery of the original comic book.

The Chair Chairman (Chair2…aka Bago) leads the Lunchgangers into battle against Persian "god-King" ChairZilla and his army of more than one million Cubeians (people who work in Cube City). As the battle rages, Queen Gorgo attempts to rally support in Cube City for Chair2. The story is framed by a voice-over narrative by the Lunchganger soldier Picky Skywalker. Through this narrative technique, various fantastical creatures are introduced, placing the Lunchgangers within the genre of historical fantasy.

Chairpocalypse Now is scheduled for released in conventional DVD, Blu-ray, and HD DVD on July 4, 2011. The film's opening is predicted to be the largest in box office release in history, although critics were divided over its look and style. Some acclaimed it as an original achievement, while others criticized it for favoring visuals over characterization and its controversial depiction of the ancient Cubeians.
