It's a beautiful September day in Cube City so a few members of the Lunch gang decided to make it a Wednesday road trip day. Coach, The Professor, and ManCave headed out for a peaceful lunch at Noah's Deli for their lunch special of ½ sandwich and bowl of soup. This deli is a throw back for days gone by with its wrap around counter and little bar stools carefully placed on the outside. Kitchen's in back for most the heavy duties but the staff works from the center greeting and waiting on patrons alike. You see Noah's is known for their Corn beef which is outstanding. Sitting from your stool at the counter you can hear multiple conversations going on; some folks reading the paper while others are discussing possible Lions run to the NFL Championship. Now mind you, the Lions last win was some 629 days ago as of this writing, but who's counting. A very enjoyable experience and one you must have for yourself. Enjoy! Back at Cube City….ManCave gets a beat down regarding his 5 gallon bucket of Fish Oil pills. He tells us it's from his doctors but we really know behind those foster grants he's really "Mariner" from the movie 'Water World". If you look real close behind his ears you'll see gills. Catch him on a hot day and he moves his lips like a fish does gasping for air. Fish Oil…sure ManCave; we know the truth….I see another article of the lunch gang gazette coming out. Extra! Extra! Read All about it! Half-Man/Half-Fish survives on Fish Oil pills. Planning for a trip to Slows can be a real challenge.

I've already talked to OM, he's out; promise to his son. Who else is going?
OM: For the record... it was not a promise to my son that I would not eat Slows BBQ, rather a promise to him that I would attend a school function of his at lunchtime
The Professor: Glad you clarified...made me wonder what else you had promised to your son?
Bago: If you remember, he committed to us first--almost two weeks ago that he would go. Where is the love. Let him bring his son. School will always be there. I am IN.
OM: True that Green... Unfortunately, my wife committed me earlier without my knowing. I agree though... he would benefit greatly by hanging out with this bunch [??]. Maybe we could take him to Trumps after lunch too.
ManCave: Slows and Trumps? This is going to be a good lunch!
The Professor: ManCave - how are you going to make it to Trumps after lunch? Thought you were setting up for your monthly candle party on Sunday (coincidently right before the visit of Favre in Detroit)...you do the math...
OM: They sell purple helmet candles at this party???
ManCave: ...says the man who has to read a Barney story at Lunch with Parents...
Coach: Hey...don't knock Barney. OM happens to be a fan.
