The prelude of this story is members of the Lunch Gang belong to an exclusive club known as Gladiator-R-US. No it's not what your thinking…we don't jump into the cage and play with man-eating lions, but that does sound like something we could do at the annual cookout…anyway getting back to the story. Gladiator-R-US is a game that's played selecting weather or not the Cubs win or lose. Teams of 3-to-4 person teams make a weekly choice if the Cubs win or lose. At the end of 4 weeks, the losing team needs to buy donuts for the other teams. Well, today was payoff day! ManCave delivered a donut to coaches' desk but coach had to set it aside until his meeting was over with his boss. Upon coaches' return, a very large piece of the donut was missing; had been cut with a knife…the mystery begins of the "Who cut the donut?" Witnesses sitting across and behind Coach in Cube City, a young lady called MJ (not sure where she got that name from…another story perhaps) and Max's Mother aka Alison Link who were both laughing when Coach asked about the missing piece of donut. They knew who did this devious crime but wouldn't be labeled a rat, giving up this Cube City criminal. All they would say is "we've not seen OM all day". So ManCave and Coach started doing some investigating on their own and we quickly narrowed it down to Bago. OM was called to obtain an arrest/search warrant from judge Wompner which he issued without questions or fees. All that Judge Wompner said was "OM we need to put a stop to still donut stealing in our neighborhoods"; OM agreed and off he went. Before issuing the warrant to Bago all Coach did was ask Bago one question "why did you cut the donut in half?" Being the silent type, he responded with "I only cut off about a quarter". OM slapped the cuffs on Bago and off they took in the patty wagon. I really feel sorry for Mrs. Bago…she must be so disappointed and when the news reporters catch with her at 5am at some gas station in Cube City all she would say is "maybe now the Bago will be able to get some help!"
