OM's fetish with the Original Gonellas Italian sub's on the east side of town is beyond comparison. Now mind you the subs are really good if you get the Italian sub, but no OM has to order special. Gonellas is very popular on Fridays and its nothing to have a line of about 30 guys waiting in line for a sub. Today was no different; in fact there was about 40 guys in line awaiting to get one of 6 standard subs from the menu. Well, OM was first in line from our group and when the mustache women deli person behind the counter asked OM what he wanted he had a special order…"I want smoked turkey, Swiss cheese cut to 1/8" think, light lettuce, mayo on a soft roll cut into three sections each approx. 2 1/2" each". The rest of the lunch gang had all we could do just to hold off the crowd behind us. Then next in line was Bago. He did the same thing…special order.
We took a picture of ManCave's house behind Gonellas. They've re-modeled the place and we want to share with him while he's on vacation. Very good improvements.
Bago was in rare form today. He must have drunk 10 pots of coffee or he was putting something really special in his drink. Wow!
T-Mobil went today was well, never talked during lunch on texted. Maestro stopped by with his toasted subway…something new for the Maestro. We do need to get him out more. Really!
