Yes it’s true. One of the Lunch Gang members is moving on to bigger and better things. ManCave has taken a job at the Mecca. The Mecca if you’re not familiar with it is a building that houses a very culturally diverse group of workers. Have you ever seen the VISA commercial where the dude answers the phone as Peggy? Well, we found him…that’s right he’s at the Mecca. Also found was the “outsourcing” dude that was thought to be in a tent somewhere northern Afghanistan, his tent was actually on the roof of the Mecca.
ManCave has already had a run in with a very up tight dude (we’ll call him MMF for now) as he and coach were moving boxes to his new cube. MMF stood up and looked at the both of us and said “are you the movers?” We both said no and kept working. Then MMF says “I’m supposed to get that computer…it was promised to me”. Coach was starring MMF down now, looking at him like he wants to beat his ass. ManCave responded to his statement “dude, relax. You can all of this because I don’t need it”. Then MMF says “do you have a key to unlock it?” ManCave just about came unglued. “Look, you can have all of this. I don’t friggin want it”. Coach says, we got cable cutters out in the car if really want it that bad. MMF sits down and puts on his headphones. ManCave and Coach just looked at one another and said…”this is going to be easy”.
