Did you ever have one of “those” days where everything is just off? Well, today is Professor’s day. After being gone on World Tour with U2, the Professor arrives back at Cube City and joins us for lunch at Bago Café (formerly known as Goose Lane Café). The majority of the Gang had all but finished with lunch when the Professor plopped is lunch sack down on the table. After removing a container he headed over to the cooking station (aka Microwave). Upon his return, he removes the container top displaying a very healthy portion of Delicious looking pasta. Professor grabs his fork, leans forward spearing a portion that any man would be proud of and starts to bring it to his mouth…then all hell breaks loose. As the Professor brings up his fork his badge caught his container of Delicious Pasta; over it came…right down the front and onto the floor. It was like watching Matthew Stafford throwing the winning TD pass to Calvin Johnson in slow motion for Detroit’s win over New Orleans in the playoffs…Booyah!
Being the professional he is, the Professor never said a thing. Just cleaned up the mess; walked over and grabbed a bowl of veggie chili. Later that day, we wanted to keep with the theme of the day (you know, food everywhere) so we bought him a Coffee and a “Fruit Explosion Muffin” to help make up for his loss of his “Delicious Pasta”.
