Everyone associated with the Lunch Gang or those who’ve been around Picky for any amount of time have heard him say “I’m older that dirt”. Well today a branch of the National Historical Society discovered new evidence that Picky really is that old.
According to H.E. Pennypacker, a world renowned wealthy anthropologist and spokesman for the National Historical Society said during a press conference today that newly discovered evidence was found just outside of Gettysburg in an old barn. Acting on a tip they received from Facebook, a team of anthropologist’s discovered a small trunk on the back of a very old wagon. Inside the trunk was believed to be some of the first photo’s ever taken in battle; along with maps and some miscellaneous artifacts.
After close examination of the wagon the team also found yet another discovery. This wagon was built by Vandelay Wagon Company located in Gettysburg 1859. Prior to the war and during the civil war these wagons were used for more than transporting of goods…they were called “Shagg’in Wagons”. Need I explain? On one of the inside boards of the wagon it looks like Picky was keeping count (wink, wink) by etching notches into the board.
This newly found evidence does indeed support the fact that Picky was fighting in the battle of Gettysburg, July 1863. “YOU ARE OLDER THAN DIRT!”
