The Church of Scientology advocates the idea of past lives and, these Civil War era photos that bear an eerie resemblance of John Travolta, Nicolas Cage, and Picky Skywalker have sparked rumors these men are real-life vampire.
In a recent article in Vampire Among Us Journal, H.E. Pennypacker from the National Historical Society is quoted to say “Personally, I believe all three of them is some sort of walking undead/vampire, et cetera, who quickens/reinvents themselves once every 100 years or so.” He also went on to say “in 150 years from now, each of them might be politicians, leaders of cults, talk show host, or even Jedi Masters.”
Unfortunately, there’s one small problem with this bold claims. Vampire experts have been buzzing since the news about these Mr. Vampires broke — because a vampire cannot be photographed!
If you think about it Nicolas Cage has starred in “Vampire’s Kiss” and played a demonic role in “Ghost Rider.” For most, his connection to the bloodsucking species ends there. Ledged has it antique shop Vandelay Industries who got the rumor mill cooking about these photographs around 1870 when these photos were taken, they could not be anybody else but Cage.
Looking into the strange case of Picky Skywalker finds even more detail that he truly is a vampire. He arrives at work today when it’s dark; his glasses turn to some type of “black non-reflective material” automatically when the sun comes up; and goes home wearing a hooded jacket and gloves. According to H. E. Pennypacker “when digging through the archives of the civil war photo we discovered a faded name on the back Bartholomew Jedi Skywalker. Have you ever seen Picky Skywalker admiring himself in a mirror?
