The Bago is an eccentric, possibly insane, self styled 'pet swinger' who gave up his regular Café Organizer work so he could focus more on becoming a Dolphin Rider. Like all the great jockeys, he is gifted with incredible powers of observation and deduction. Bago's many personality quirks include his persistent, almost pathological vulgarity and exceedingly flamboyant, extroverted behavior. Despite his frequently psychotic personality, he is a very dedicated Café Organizer, driven by an insatiable animal love and a desire to wear protection for fear of catching the Dolphin-Clap. It is revealed on the lagoons of the Caribbean, which Bago rode bare-back with his Dolphin friend "Flipper". According to first reports, Flipper turned over on his back motioning for Bago to get on. All you could hear from the beach was Bago screaming NO, NO, NO, as Flipper kept hitting bigger waves. Bago's love for animals, feeding, umbrella Drinks, personality, insanity, and even hairdo are due to a mutated chromosome which has been in the Bago family for thousands of years.
Although Bago is an animal lover, the beach scene with the Monkey reveals that he has a deep seated fear of Monkey Juggling which caused problems throughout his voyage, especially when Bago is forced to carry the Monkey into the shower with him.
Regarding appearance, he usually wears an unbuttoned Aloha shirt over a plain white A-shirt, with red and black striped short-trousers.
