Whenever Bago is having lunch with us you never know what is going to come out of his mouth. It could be answers to a puzzling trivial question; or a geographical finding; or even local facts on Telegraph road. Today was another Bagoism. Apparently, Bago has been growing Aloe plants and will be sharing with a couple of Lunch Gang members. For those of you who don’t know what an Aloe plant is read below.
Over 500 species are accepted in the genus Aloe, plus even more synonyms and unresolved species, subspecies, varieties, and hybrids. Some of the accepted species are: Aloe barberae, Aloe haemanthifolia, and the Aloe namibensis. But the one that is most fascinating on the list is the Aloe Bagowhackthemosis grown here locally by the Lunch Gang’s very own Bago.
